This poster series was inspired by the indie folk musical artist, Sufjan Stevens, and the lyrics in his songs. Many of his songs speak raw truths dealing with difficult life events. I was inspired to take those meaningful lyrics and create simple, but effective, designs, while highlighting the poetry of the lyrics.

“ I Want To Be Well” inspired by Sufjan Stevens’ song by the same name. I used fun, bright colors to highlight the contrast of the cry for help in the lyrics.
